About five hundred employees are working presently in the building of Collectorate. Now the present condition of the building is in bad shape. Many parts of the building are in dilapilated condition. During rainy season water is seeping continuously from the roofs of the top floor of the building. Though the concerned authority i.e.,Executive Engineer ,R & B has been repeatedly requested to take up the work of special repair of the building, he has not taken up any effective measure towards solving the aforementioned problem.
Day by day, more and more offices particularly, related to Zilla Parishad are opening up in the main building of the Collectorate for which much inconvenience is caused due to acute shortage of space and thereby the day to day office work is hampering a lot.
